I'm restoring a 68 and someone cut out the dash where the radio goes. I want to fabricate and weld back the piece with the two holes to hold a stock type radio in. Does anyone have digital pictures of their dash (without the bezel and radio) they can email me so I know what to fabricate?

Also I want to install a passenger side mirror. The car has one screw hole in the door but no mirror - strange. Can someone provide me the measurements from the front edge of the door how far back the mounting holes are for the passenger mirror so I get it in the correct place.

Thanks

Can't help you with the hole in the dash because I bought my car the same way. So I just stuck a modern stereo/CD in the hole. Maybe someday I'll do what you're attempting, so keep us posted on your progress.
As for the passenger side mirror, I just made a paper template from my drivers side and used it on the passenger side. This may not be technically correct, but it looks symetrical and works fine. Good luck...and Happy New Year!

Sent you email on scheduling a time to look at my radio holes in Atascadero.
