In a 69 how would I take out the back seats without cutting into to them? Anyone have a pics of someone doing it? Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! boodlefoof Jun 20th, 04, 04:53 PM I would guess the '69 seat comes out the same as the '68 seat. What you do is keel down in the car facing the seat... push the bottom part of the seat back towards the trunk, and once it moves back just a bit you pull upwards. The bottom half will pop up and you can just pull it forward and out if I remember right. Then, to get the back rest out you need to lift up and pull the bottom part of it towards the front. I think that's how I did mine. Just took a little pushing. Once it popped loose it was easy to get out. It takes a lot of pushing on the bottom to get it to unhook, so push on it as low down on the front of the seat as you can. The hooks holding the front edge of the seat-bottom are facing backwards. |
