The seller states tht 67's had black vent balls. I don't remember ever seeing anything but chrome. I missed buying these but want to pick up the right three vents for my 67 to add a Vintage Air package one day.

the bezels where painted the same color( i'm pretty sure, someone correct me if i am wrong ) as the dash in 67 a/c cars. the chrome bezel was introduced in 68 with the astro ventilation.vintage air includes factory like bezels and balls with their 67 kit but they are a little smaller. they do have factory replacements sold seperatly. there is an adapter,so either will fit the duct work included in the kit. have fun, i will doing the same thing in the sometime future, if ya know what i mean $$$. supposed to be a great system from what i have heard.good luck

You are lucky you missed them ... those were in bad shape, you can see traces of chrome left on the balls. I never noticed that the outer bezels were year specific for panted and chrome, I guess I assumed chrome was part of a bright trim option but I think tucsonan is correct about the outer bezels being painted until 68.

The weird part is I don't remeber ever seeing a 67 with black vents. Of course they wouldn't be all that visible so maybe I just didn't notice. i should clarify by saying , the balls themselves are suppose to be chrome for 67 & 68, those balls did'nt look good, later
