does anybody make a reproduction black console shift plate without the cherrywood for a 69

There was not a black console plate available. They were all rosewood for 69. smile.gif

Get a pc. of 28 gauge steel. Cut it to size. Drill 4 holes in the middle where you have to cut out for shifter Then use tin snips to cut to the holes you drilled. Lightly sand it, prime and paint it black. You might even want to use black krinkle paint on it. Just be careful that you don't bend it at all while cutting it. It would be real hard to get ripples out of it. Glue it down. You're done.
