Just finishing the interior in my 67 Coupe and have either an aluminum or stainless steel trim piece that fits on the pinchweld in the door opening, covering the edge of the headliner. Does anyone make/sell these? I checked a couple of the usual catalogs and can't find them. One is beat up a bit with very deep scratches that can't be sanded or polished out. They only have 3 clips on them and for a good fit, could use a couple more per side. Can these be found anywhere?

Those pieces are not reproduced. There have been a few on E-bay. Used parts are the only available.

Those are stainless. You might want to try having them fixed and polished. Dents can be worked out and scratches can be fixed or at least made less severe.

I have those same chrome pcs on mine, so i'm guessing you've got deluxe interior. Jackr is right they don't repro them and i too have seen them on ebay but they are very expensive.

Are your plastic windshield pillars chrome too? If so ,did you get them re-chromed? Or did you find a repro set that fit? I tried doing that but i couldn't get a repro set to fit with that wide trim we have on the headliner.

RamJam, You know, I thought those things were from a deluxe interior, but when I bought the car, it had a standard interior in it. I have found a couple other things that were on the car that didn't seem like they should have been there, so I'm guessing somewhere along the line, someone added a few things from the deluxe interior even though it shouldn't have normally had them seing it was built as a standard interior car.

I have a 68 coupe w/ standard interior and it has the chrome moulding as well.

I got my 67 in 1979, and it had those moldings and chrome pillar moldings with a standard interior.THE ONLY OPTION MY CAR HAD LOL.
