I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I took apart my drivers door to clean up/fix everything needed. I snapped a couple of pics (mostly for my benefit so I don't forget graemlins/clonk.gif ). They are kind of big, but I wanted max detail (again for my benefit):

I'm sure that this info is in the fisher body manual, but I don't have one for 67.

Hi Paulm, does your car have Deluxe interior? The reason I ask is because mine was standard which I am changing over to Deluxe and was wondering if the shaft for the window roll up is longer campared to standard? Thanks

Yes, deluxe.

The difference between the std/deluxe is that the deluxe has a thread on center to bolt the deluxe door open handles.

Paulm,

Thanks, I'll probably be doing that in the fall. How much trouble was it. I'm sure I have some worn parts in mine. Pass side doesn't track quite right it rolls up inside rear window seal. Mine is a 67 coupe but that area should be the same.

Jack, that's the only difference, threads for a bolt?

RamJam, no trouble at all. Taking stuff apart is easy, the hard part is figuring out what to do with all of the "extra" parts when you reassemble. :D

The other reason that I gutted the doors was to clean and reapply the undercoating junk on the inside. Doors have a tendency to gather lots of yucky stuff over 35+ years!!

Other than the bolt hole in the door mechanism and a 4" or so L bracket that is used for the deluxe door panel cup mounts, the 67 std/deluxe are the same

one more difference , you will need a good 401K $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get the deluxe door panels , my 67 needs them and has for five years now , I wish mine was standard , :(
