Hi All:
Can anyone tell me what color the metal seat frame is suppossed to be?? Meaning the part that actually gets bolted to the floor. Where they painted black or left as natural steel??

They are natural steel, thats why they are rusted.

I brushed mine with a wire wheel, and painted it "bare steel" to mimmic the originals. I believe the adjuster bracket should be cad plated. I think I used a little argent silver, or maybe chrome bumper paint with the "shine" buffed off. (It comes right off by hand with a rag)

I have spray paint from Eastwood that duplicates bare steel. Looks like that's what I'll use.
