I've seen a 68 camaro w/ Parchment/Houndstooth at a Camro show @ it looked like a pearl color. I thought this was more of a grey color from magazines and other car shows? Anyone know for sure?

Thanks,
Steve

From what I have seen, it is an off white (slightly yellow) color...

This has been the source of plenty of confusion over the years.

1968 custom interior code 711 is Ivory, basically white.

1968 custom interior code 730 is Parchment, which looks a lot like white but isn't. It is often called Pearl because it has a silver tint.

At a glance 711 & 730 appear identical.

1968 custom interior code 716 is Ivory/houndstooth. Supposed to be the same shade as 711, I've heard some repo covers incorrectly used Parchment vinyl.

Place a Parchment door panel next to an Ivory door panel and you will see quite a difference.

The 67/68 parchment is the same shade. Send me an e-mail and I'll get you a picture of my 67 parchment
