Is it true that when you install deluxe interior,example yellow houndstooth,you have to use different window regulators than if you have black standard interior and if this is the case are there any other required parts to make the swap???? this for 1969 camaro coupe.

I know that the window cranks are longer (stick out a few eigths of an inch more) for the Deluxe interior because the door panels are formed differently. You'd need regulators for Deluxe interior if they're standard regs now.

This only applies to the fronts. The rears are the same for Coupe, Convertible, Standard or Deluxe...

YOU DO NOT NEED NEW REGULATORS! You can use the standard reg's. with some minor changes. Do a search on this site using "deluxe regulators" and you should find how to modify them. If you can't find it that way-AFTER TRYING-you can e-mail me directly and I can tell you a very inexpensive way to modify yours to work properly, look factory, and cost next to nothing..

Thanks for the replys,I will look it up,I found them in 1 book I have and they are around $90 a side,if I can modify the standard ones,I will give it a try.
