Does anyone know if there's a website or someone out there that offers restored 69 Camaro radios. I'm trying to decide if I want to go the Radio Delete Plate route or just try to buy a radio and install it. I looked on ebay, but was just wanting to know if anyone knew of anyone reputable to go to.....

If you want a modern head unit that fits the stock location, check out Custom Auto Sound at www.soundmove.com. (http://www.soundmove.com.) They have radios that look stock but are actually newer technology. Hope this helps.

I used Classic Radio in Indy Z11's post. They seem to be a good vendor. Not inexpensive to have them restore a radio, though. They also re-coned my speaker.

From your post it sounds like you dont plan to use the radio, only fill the hole. I would suggest EBAY personally. You can usually find an 69 camaro AM radio for about $30.00 and most of them work (ask before buying if ou want a working one). When you get one, wipe it down and use a toothbrush with some soapy water to clean the pushbuttons. The dial glass removes by taking off a few clips (very easy) wipe down the face where the glass was and then wipe down the face or replace it with a new repro (also can be bought on Ebay for $25.00) then install it. you will have a good looking radio to fill the hole and didn't have to spend alot.
You can also check www.originalcarradios.com (http://www.originalcarradios.com) they have alot of very nice stock radios for sale. I recommend them to a lot of people.
BTW I own Joe's Classic Car Radio Co.

I have bought a radio from www.originalcarradios.com (http://www.originalcarradios.com) and I love it. Very nice, works perfectly. Great folks to buy from. Also a guy known as bigmoneylewis on ebay sells some nice radios but he is proud of them, very pricey. Hope this helps.
