Had a great time this year, May 8, I didn't need the Depends undergarments after all!
Carl's car ran great, didn't spew any fluids, didn't lose oil pressure, didn't fry the steering system, didn't fade the brakes. Even the oil stayed cool!
His new Sparco seats held me in place and made riding with him an easy task, what a difference!!!

The bad news is Craig Boone blew his engine. Luckily he towed the car there.

Carl Chicca was there with his red 69 Camaro, he reportedly hit 137mph at the end of the front straight! he did an outstanding job driving his Camaro.

Here's a link to a video clip of the camaro guys all together at the start, plus more still pics.

David, those are sweet pics. By chance, would you or Larry have those pics in higher resolution? I'd LOVE to see bigger pics of Chicca's car.

I need to figure out how to write a real webpage before mine gets too much bigger. Being able to have seperate sections would be a lot easier to swallow than the whole thing.

Track Day is simply addictive. There's a lot of cool cars, great people, and fun driving. It's a war of attrition for the cars by the end of the day.

The new seats are a pleasure to use on the track. Before it was difficult to shift since I had to use my legs to hold me from sliding around on the stock seats. Now I can drive the car, instead of it driving me. The double bonus is that we don't get black flagged when Pozzi has his arm out the window hanging onto the top of the door!

It will be interesting to find out what happend to Craigs engine. A busted crank and/or block seems to be in the cards. The bottom end is going to be a total loss.

Chicca's car is brutal. Likely the fastest overall car of the day, and much faster on the front straight (137mph.)

Man, I'm jealous. That looks and sounds like so much fun. I hope to do a few of those type events near me next year when my 69 is back together.

Oh yeah, and the webpage... I had that problem too, so I went and got my own domain and started messing around.
