I just bought another 68 that was Ash gold with gold interior, and it is deluxe. I have another 68, but it is standard. Is deluxle that cool? Is it more expensive to restore? Are all the parts different like window regulators, door handles ect..?

I think you'll see about 20 deg's cooler with the deluxe... http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif I know always a smart a$$ in the group!!! Looks are subjective, the std. lends itself to that down to business street machine and dlx is more the cruiser in my eyes. As for the differences I'll suggest a search cause the info is all over this forum, just waiting to be read!!!

Just an example, If my car were equipted with standard interior I could order a pair of door panels for around $70. Instead I had to pay $300. plus shipping for a pair of repro deluxe ones. Thanks God I could save all the trim that were installed in the old ones. The rear quarter ones, I made them, it's an easy task.
