I ended up up with a new "I Did It" tilt column in a trade for some labor. The column looks like a nice piece but does not include the mounting plate at the fire wall or the tabs under the dash. My thought is I will sacrifice my non-tilt column for this hardware. Has anyone done this, is there a better way, or any specific do's or dont's.
Thanks
Jeff

Yes, use your exsisting brackets.

My Flaming River column has a proprietary mount for under the dash.

Oh, I didn't catch the "I did it column". I don't know what brackets to use now.

The "I Did It" column that is sold for the camaro is simply the correct length and dia. It comes with no mounting hardware, like it would for a street rod. I was just curious if anyone fabricated there own hardware or if sacrificing my original not tilt column is the best solution. I kind of hate destroying a good original column even though it is just a standard column.
