I have had the seat springs/frames bead blasted and I am looking for information on painting/coating so they look close to original.

the seat rails, the things the seat is bolted to that you adjust the seats with were not coated with anything from the factory. Just natural steel. the screws (bolts) were coated in black oxide. Since you've already bead blasted them I'd just coat them with a clear paint. If your doing a concours resto you'd have to buff them back to a natural steel looking.

The springs and seat frames weren't painted originally - just natural steel. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
