This will just get the whole assembly out of the dash though. You may have to remove the entire dash carrier (where the speddometer and tach/fuel gauges are) to get the control unit out from under the dash. The lens itself is held on by four little spring clips, 2 on each side. BUT in order to remove the lens you need to pull the chrome knobs on the end of the slide arms off. I tried to pull mine off once but couldn't get them loose. They appear to be glued (epoxied) onto the ends of the slide arms, and since the arms are white metal (pot metal) and I didn't want to break one I gave up. If anyone knows how to safely pull those knobs off I'd like to know how its done. ------------------ Mark Canning 1969 Indy Pace Car 350/300HP RPO Z11 RobR Jan 25th, 01, 10:58 AM I put a piece of cloth on the knob and gripped the knob with pliers and worked them back and forth very gently and they came of nicely.
