trying to get my interior in and as usual i have run into some bad luck, got ahold of some bad glue when i first started gluing my upper reinforcement panels on the rear beside the back seat but finally got that problem solved. now a bigger one the upper metal that you glue to on the drivers door is a total lost, and there isn,t a repro as i can find. does any of you camaro guru,s know where a fellow could get his hands on one of these. that,s about all i need to finish up the inside, let me know if anyone knows if there is help for me, thanks

Not sure of the exact metal piece your lookin for here if its the Chrome strip on the door panel itself or if its the window felt your lookin for Both of those parts are in my Paddock catalog as available.

hideaway -

looks like you already found a solution. I had the same problem. I ended up checking ad listings on this site for guys parting out cars or with large quantities of parts. I found a guy with a couple of old, trashed '69 door panels. He agreed to cut off the metal backing section of the upper door panels and send them to me for about $20 or $25 if I remember correctly.

I have repro door panels and the top section is reproduced in plastic - which means they're basically worthless. The metal originals will work far better.

Hey RockMtnRacer I bought PUI preassembled panels and they use metal instead of plastic. Hope this helps
