Did the tape player put ont he console was it an 8 track or jsut a cassete player? And does anybody have any idea where i could get one and how much it would be? THANKS

They were 8-tracks. My '69 has one. No idea of value of these units.

I have a complete console 8track except for the mounting bracket and that is easy to make and the set also has the instalation paperwork,a NOS arm rest,kick pannell speakers,and the wiring has been checked,NOS speaker grilles,the whole set up looks to be complete but who knows it might need a small piece or two that I dont know about.I think it would bring around $600.00 to $800.00 on Ebay but you make a offer and I might sell it. all.camaro@home.com

I sold a NOS setup including the kick panel speaker grills, all instructions and templates for 800.00 a couple years ago.

Clill, didnt get to check on the hood friday as i wanted , we had a HAZMAT spill and i was there all day dealing with thaat . on Vacation now ill be checking on it by Wedsday and get back with yo__

if you are wanting to purchase an 8-track unit:
you MUST have the heat sink or the unit will not work properly. The heat sink originally mounted behind the dash........
