I would like to add some tunes to my 68 convert. . the am thats in the car is dead, only speaker is in the dash its beat. My question is did the camaros ever put speakers down by the fresh air vents? I would like to keep this as close to stck as possible. THANKS

I don't think they did but I know people that have cut 4 inch to 5 1/2 inch holes and mounted speakers there. It looked clean to me. Just be sure you pick up speakers that have magnets small enough to fit correctly.

Yes,a 4x6 speaker fits perfectly in the kick panel.They even offer the speaker grills reproduction.I just put them in my car.
