Hello, I have a 67 camaro that I am basically redoing the whole interior on, minus the seats. I know that year one does not make repro consoles for 67s, but I am wondering, would a 68 console fit? I do not care if it is not the same as 67, this is not a show car, just as long as it fits. And, would a 68 horseshoe shifter fit in the 67?

Thanks for your help.

Maybe Year One doesn't make a replacement 67 console, but others DO. Check out www.oldmusclecars.com (http://www.oldmusclecars.com) or maybe even National Parts Depot ( www.nationalpartsdepot.com (http://www.nationalpartsdepot.com) ). I know that www.oldmusclecars.com (http://www.oldmusclecars.com) (Classic Muscle) carries them...I just looked at them in their catalog last week when I was ordering some misc parts for mine. IMHO stick with a 67 console for a 67 car.

How come you posted this twice?

Anyway, This is what I posted on original.

A 68 will fit with slight mod the bracket near shifter hole is different. If you get the console to work than the h/shoe will too. You can get repro 67 consoles from Classic Ind or Ricks and probably a couple others. The console w/out gauges is around $250. You can also find origs on ebay sometimes.
