Thinking about buying a reproduction steering wheel. The confort grip one. I noticed that it has circles on the front of it on the grip part. These are the holes to hold it together. Is this correct? I never saw it with holes on it before. Is this a crappy reproduction?
Thanks.

The steering wheel in question is a cheeper repo wheel as you thought. It does resemble a deluxe wheel in size. I test drove a Z-28 clone with one and thought it was ok. The car was a basket case and I really did not pay much attention to the wheel.
Personally I want the orginal look. I believe this repo wheel will cost you about $90 with an adapter hub. I got an orginal comfort grip with the hub for $175. To me the extra money was worth it.
Also the repo wheel has no finish on it. It is bare wood except for the metel plugs.
Good luck.

We sell many repo wood and comfort grip wheels, and over all, their quality was not too bad.

Yes this repo looks OK but nothing special.
