Every once in awhile you see a 69 with what looks to be sport/bullet mirrors off of a 2nd gen camaro. The mirrors would be painted body color. I like the looks of them. Are second gen camaro mirrors the ones they are using? Anyone have them on their 69? TIA for any replies.

The early second gens are pretty much a bolt on. Mark Stielow used a 74 Chevelle mirror on the Mule I believe which is extremely similar.

Are the '74 Chevelle mirrors mechanical or electric. I'm looking for the electric type

I sell the sport mirrors on ebay frequently...Alot of the mirrors from the 70's look similar. Some Pontiacs have thicker mounting studs on the passenger side, but the driver side goes on and has the same hardware as a 2nd gen Camaro. I don't think a 74 anything would have electric remote mirror on the drivers side (I haven't seen any that I can remember) Most of them interchange with the plastic "gasket" piece between the mirror and the door, although some have a slightly different angle to them. hope it helps...
