View Full Version : '67 Versus '69 Seats SFCamaro Jun 10th, 04, 09:41 PM Which front headrest seats are more comfortable on long drives? '67's or '69's? Steve KevinW Jun 11th, 04, 04:30 AM Neither smile.gif 67-68 headrests were a rare option, 69s were standard. IMO, both seats are tough on long trips and your head does NOT rest on the headrest despite what the name implys. :D stop and strech often. smile.gif SFCamaro Jun 12th, 04, 11:25 AM Thanks. Yeah, they feel pretty mushy don't they? Steve SFCamaro Jun 12th, 04, 03:26 PM Any way to adjust the rear of '69 seats so they stand more upright, instead of leaning back? Steve MangeMD Jun 14th, 04, 05:26 PM A lot of the time the rear seat bumpers (rubber) are worn out and squashed...you can replace them easily and get it more upright. Gary 69X11SS Jun 15th, 04, 06:38 AM Even after replacing the seat back stops most people think that the seats lean too far back for long distance driving. You can use some spacers under the rear attachment points of the seat tracks and effectively change the pitch of the seat itself without effecting the seat back lock. |
