We are doing them on my '68...pretty tough to at first, but turning out nice with some time. Just look at how the old ones come apart and use good hog ring pliers. Don't be afraid to get a little burley with them...you will probably need to. Good luck! ~ John

I installed new seat buns on my 69 seats, so I had to pull off and reinstall the covers. It was a royal pain in the bee-hind. My hands ached for days.

If you are patient, you can do it. Buy the best set of hogring pliers you can.

A very good trim shop in the Detroit area charges $175.00 to do this job and guarantee it. Just food for thought.

I did the back seat myself. I started the front buckets, but it got too involved. A shop put new seat buns on and the covers for $150.00 in Chicago.
