Guys, does the oil filter have to come off to see the VIN (small block),or is it located on the outside half circle of the block? Are TH350's only numbered on the pan or do they have a VIN stamping? Thanks

The surface is not machined and the stamp can be very difficult to read. frankk Oct 5th, 01, 07:16 PM William is right on, when I look for mine its with the help of a 6x magnifing glass. |
