I am new so please excuse me for the lack of knowledge, thats why I'm here. According to my Vin numbers I have a 68 with standard body style. When redoing the body parts on the front end and interior is it a must to go with parts labled for standard or can an SS camaro look be applied. Example would be grille assembly parts. When looking through the catalogs for parts (body, interior) it describes RS, SS, Deluxe, standard etc. I know these are for certain styles but are alot of these interchangable with each other. Trying to avoiding future returns (LOL). Thanks gentlemen.

I thought I may need to add a personal note before I start off on the wrong foot with everybody. Yes, I am one of those owners that is into the more custom, muscle car look than the all original style. Don't get me wrong, I love the originals...nothing like them...but not for me. I would like to create a vehicle with a somewhat original interior and exterior look, but with dash, console, wheels, and paint enhancements. The engine and transmission are complete and the look is awesome. The rearend and suspension are on the list after body work. This has been a dream of mine for awhile and I'm finally on my way.

Since this is posted in the Body Shop also I'm closing this one. You'll find it much easier to track as you get answers and it helps keep the site in order when you only post once...
