Steering wheel won't come off. Is there something I'm missing? I managed to bend 4 sets of bolts really bad and it won't come off. My puller just won't work. Tried the steering wheel puller and the harmonic balancer puller. Neither worked. The center bolt keeps sliding around and won't stay straight. Please help. Any tips?

Tony..Try putting the nut back on the steering shaft and back it off enough
so the center shaft of of the puller
sits in this little pocket.
Also, make sure the bolts are adjusted
evenly so the puller doesn't slip to one
side.Good luck!

Be very careful not to beat on the column or shaft. It is colapsible.
