Subject: WHY are we there?


Every day there are news reports about more deaths. Every night on TV there are photos of death and destruction. Why are we still there?


We occupied this land, which we had to take by force, but it causes us nothing but trouble. Why are we still there?



Many of our children go there and never come back. Why are we still there?



Their government is unstable, and they have loopy leadership. Why are we still there?



Many of their people are uncivilized. Why are we still there?



The place is subject to natural disasters, which we are supposed to bail them

out of. Why are we still there?



There are more than 1000 religious sects, which we do not understand. Why are we still there?



Their folkways, foods and fads are unfathomable to ordinary Americans. Why are we still there?



We can't even secure the borders. Why are we still there?



They are billions of dollars in debt and it will cost billions more to rebuild, which we can't afford. Why are we still there?



It is becoming clear...



WE MUST PULL OUT OF CALIFORNIA!

Some of it is true though, the reason we are still there (here) is because of days like today (and all this week) the weather is PERFECT. Trust me I have thought about pulling out but, the weather keeps me here.

Very basic. If the U.S. loses California, Nevada and Arizona will fall into the ocean. If this happens, where will we go to gamble and where would "snowbirds" go? Florida can only hold so many people. Be smart, by ocean front beach property in Nevada and Arizona. Some day, it will pay off BIG TIME!

I was born in California, left in '53, I was two months old at the time. It's not my fault the others didn't pull out. :eek:

Psst.... In addition to all their other problems I hear they have strange looking Camaros out there. :D

Calif is the 5th largest economic power in the world. US, Japan, Germany, UK and if it were a country CA... More than AZ and NV might fall into the ocean without us! ;) I guess you could say Calif is to the US what the US is to the world! :D
