I am desperatly seeking an original 69 shifter for my z-28 resto, mine was sent for rebuild and not been seen since (long story)
Any Help out there?

I've got an extra one, restored by Hurst, through Year One. It has a the small block bracket, linkage, and rechromed handle. Not cheap, though. Email if interested.

I got one out of Jeg's. It looked exactly like the original one. So I tossed out the original just a few days ago. New shifter works great with no slop. Bummer on tossing out the old shifter though, I would have been happy to have sent it to you.

I recommend getting an original handle and drilling it to bolt onto a new Hurst shifter. No one will ever know and you will have positive stops.
