Does anyone know for sure that if the car (1969 Camaro RS SS) is a factory big block 396 350 hp turbo 400 did it come with a 12 or 10 bolt diff, was the 12 an option with the big block? http://www.camaros.net/forum/cool.gif http://www.camaros.net/forum/cool.gif

As far as all reference materials, original order materials etc. that were and are available, the "SS" option mandidated the upgraded diff. which would automatically delete the availability of the option. All 396's would have been backed by the 12 bolt diff. leaving optional the gear ratio and the positration. Good luck

As far as I know all 396's came with 12 bolt.
