Ok, so my original (never rebuilt)'67 12 bolt exploded on me, and this is what I have left:
Housing - OK
Axles - OK
4 series carrier - Nicks but no cracks.
spiders - completely gone
clutch pak - Appears ok
side gears - ok...i think. Don't know what to look for here.

Does anyone know where i can get these pieces without buying a whole new posi unit. Also, will old side gears work with new spiders?.
I want good stuff that will last.
any advise greatly appreciated.

I can get you the new gears for about $135. This is a whole set of 4 gears and they are built stronger than the originals. You can't get the pinion (spider) gears seperately anymore and because of the design change the new and old gears can't be mixed.
