Does any one know where I can get the 68-69 L-78 solid lifter camshaft? I think it's part # 3863143.Or does anyone reproduce this grind? Any help would be appreciated.

Crane cams has a repro of the 375 hp L78 L72 solid lifter cam. Check the Crane cam web site.

GM still sells it as a kit with lifters. Crane makes them for GM, and will be cheaper through GM than from Crane.

Well I looked on crane cams web site and got there part # and then called Summit Racing, they said said they had it in stock for 169.00 cam and lifters. Thanks Joe 58 And Copo Pete for your help.

Hello-G.M. still makes the L-78 camshaft/solid lifter kit. I ordered one for
my Cortez Silver coupe,(when I rebuild the motor), and the G.M. part#12364057. I ordered mine3/08/01, and hopefully you can still get it. I love the color and options on your Z, do you have any doc's on the car? I have a original window sticker and P.O.P. on my L-78. Joel

uh i think jegs(www.jegs.com) offers reproduction "muscle car cams" they still have the same lift and duration, yet are supposed to be improved somehow.
