hey all been a while !! anyway i just got a new 625 road demon carb with electric choke and well the damn choke butterfly linkage is right where the base of all air cleaners arefit to carb and the linkage is in the way anyone know of an after market air cleaner that will clear this damn thing???????? any help is appreciated!! thanks the freak!!

I bought the 750 Speed Demon and it also has the clearance problems. I believe that they state this some where. I bought a run of the mill ball milled looking aluminum oval air cleaner for like $50 or $60 bucks and clearanced it myself with a file. It has plenty of material to clearance and fits the carb very nicely.

I have the very same carb and simply banged out the metal with a metal forming hammer and it works great. Just have to make sure that the base of the cleaner is always centered up.
