I've seen a '67 for sale, but it has an "original sunshine roof" ...is this a common option, cause I've never heard of it??
Thanks

View Full Version : '67 sunshine roof, common option? DL Dec 18th, 01, 03:03 AM I've seen a '67 for sale, but it has an "original sunshine roof" ...is this a common option, cause I've never heard of it?? Thanks David Mark C Dec 18th, 01, 03:42 AM It was an option for the European assembled Camaros. Was added either at the Antwerp plant where the cars were finished, or by the dealer. Can't say as to how common they are though, Only seen pictures of 2 cars with them. They are a sliding glass roof panel, sort of recessed below the roof line, and I believe that this option also mandated a vinyl roof. ------------------ Mark Canning 1969 Indy Pace Car 350/300HP RPO Z11 My 69 L48 - 350/300HP Engine (http://www.townisp.com/~markcanning/camaro/transparent%20air%20cleaner3.jpg) DL Dec 18th, 01, 04:32 AM Does it looks nice on a Camaro? The picture doesn't tell if there is a sunshine roof, but in the text below it does... It seems a real beautiful car, and a very low price $8250, while most of the camaros costs $11250. Does anybody has a picture of one with a sunroof?? Thanx David |
