Hey all I was watchin this F-body video with many of the camaro's having a stream of what looks like either steam, smoke or some kind of visible gas comming from a hole in the hood, what is that? why is it there? is it just for show and where can I find a kit/ instructions to build my own cause it looks very very sweet!

Not sure, but it sounds like you are describing a nitrous purge. Just add a NOS and enjoy.

Sounds like you are talking about a nitrous purge valve.

Orion, if you're just after the "look" I imagine you could rig up a small fire extinguisher under the dash with a line running out to the cowl. It would look the same as a nitrous purge. But don't go spraying it in front of any fast cars!
The reason for the purge is to bring a fresh, denser charge of nitrous to the plate or nozzles.
