Surely somebody has a fix for this. I can only work a few seconds with my goggles or safety glasses on, less time when I wear a mask. Is there anything that I can put on these things to keep them from fogging????

Yep, there is a product designed for scuba diving that might solve your problem. Most dive shops carry a small bottle of anti-fog liquid for dive masks. Been so long since I was under I forget what brand I used to use, but there are several. You swish it around in the mask/ goggles etc and then pour it out. No fog after that!

Give it a shot! Not too expensive- maybe $5 or so a bottle.

The makers of rain-ex also have a product
that's called anti-fog or somthing like that
Wal-Mart or auto parts store sell it, it's
made to use on inside of windshield's but
I also use it on safty glasses,goggles and
shield on racing helmet.

we use the scuba mask anti fog for firefighting it works well. I forgot the name also, but it was a paste like car wax you rub on and wipe off.

Yeah....the "rain x' stuff works good and is available at most parts stores as posted above....

Motorcycle dealers also will have the stuff. I've used it on my helmets. I suspect and good auto parts store will also have these products.

If your safety glasses are the molded one-piece plastic type, you can drill 8 or 9 small (1/16") holes in the area above your nose - this will ventilate them and prevent them from fogging, and the holes are small enough to keep stuff out.

it's called Fog-X, works great

You'll find it at good athletic supply stores too, hockey players use it up here on their plexiglas visors. They do make goggles that have vents built into them to help them breath and prevent fogging. But if you're in the gulf area of Texas good luck. My experience working down there is it's so humid almost any goggle or shield will fog over.

I have regular goggles with the vents, they fog without and with a mask. I have safety glasses with the foldout side gaurds also vented, they fog with a without a mask. I have the one piece safety glasses non vented, they fog with and without a mask. I really would like to continue using a mask due to all the welding, grinding and sanding I am doing. Thanks for all the help guys, I will be picking up some stuff today. I just have to finish my driver side floor and I'll be ready to bolt her back up.

for a quick fix, spit on the inside of the goggles, and rub it around with your finger. Works good when snorkeling too.
