Hey, I am needing to get a new, taller hood for my 73.. The 2" cowl is too short to cover my new stuff.

Any idea on where I can find some kinda of really neat hood for it? I think it would be awesome to have a hood with the ram air like the new firebirds, or something like that. The usual cowl is on every car.

if your stuff won't clear under your existing hood, i doubt it would fit under a ram air type hood very well. your only choices are to get a taller cowl, a pro-stock type scoop(seems to look best with side pipes, in my opinion), or just cut a hole and let it all hang out. no matter what, the law enforcers will notice you a mile away. make sure you wear seat belts and all your lights and horn work, and exhaust isn't too loud.they check everything on a "fast looking" car.
