Hey everybody, I got a problem here, I bought my car over a year ago and the oil pressure was always around the 80 psi mark when operating and a little less when at idle. Last weekend I noticed that the gauge know goes no father then 45 psi and when driving it now stays around 20 psi, it will border the red danger lines when idling now. Needless to say I have stopped driving her, but I was wondering if my oil pump went out, the gauge, or maybe a sensor. I checked the oil and it is full and very good in color and smell. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Its comomn for GM cars to have unaccurate gauge readings do to voltage drops. Try using a mechanical guage to double check the readings.
