I need some insight please... I have a 1969 camaro w/ a 468 BB, with a D-1 supercharger. In the next two weeks I'm going to purchase a Fuel Injection kit for my Big Block from carb. to fuel injection.

What reccommendation do you have on what type to get and what all do I need? A one stop kind of deal... It will produce about 800+ HP.

Thanks for all the help!

Well you're running almost exactly what I am. The best system for the money that will run that engine is the Holley 950 Commander. However you'll need a wide-band O2 (at least for initial tuning) which they don't offer. Most chassis dyno places have them. Also they can run only up to 50# injectors which are too small for that amount of horsepower. So that requires a race upgrade for $250-$300 or so. Plus the larger injectors.

I'm running the Speed Pro (FAST) ECU with a 1000 cfm throttle body, Victor Jr. manifold modified for EFI, 75# injectors, and Aeromotive pump and regulator. Mine is a 468 with a D1SC aiming for 850-900 hp. I've just got mine running and haven't finished the tuning but it definitely has some power. We hopefully will have it on the chassis dyno next week.

You're going to have some hood issues unless you're running an aftermarket fiberglass hood or are willing to cut the inner sheetmetal of a stock cowl hood up. I ended up shaving half an inch off the manifold and swapped throttle bodies to be able to use the stock hood. The fiberglass Harwood hood clears without mods.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. The Holley set-up is about $2600. but you'll need the race upgrade and different injectors so I'm not sure what the end price will be. The FAST unit has to pieced together but should be in the $4K range with quality parts.
