Thanks fellas. I am as happy as a jackass eatin' briars as my dad used to say. Angelo I have not done anything else with my boot yet. I am waiting until I see DJD's setup at the cruiz in.

bob

ps here is a low res scan of the cover Scott on pro-touring.com was kind enough to make for me while I wait for my copy of the mag.

Did you have a lot of work done to that car at speed merchant? If so I remember seeing it a few times rolling/rumbling down the street, nice car made some of the guys at my old job drool.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I am really pleased. I could not have managed a project like that without the help of the people on this and other boards. It has been a real pleasure and I hope that I can help someone along now toward their dream car.

bob

ps.......joe yes I did have the work done at Speed Merchant and put a lot of miles on those roads around Race and Lincoln. Where do you work there. I must have driven by.

Congrats Bob - very nice cover shot! They got the whole car in graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Is your's a manual or power top?

Sure wish the Austrailian was still on Lincoln - Clod made great food!

Funny you should ask vintage it is a power top but the motor is not working any more. I need to take it off and disconnect the hydraulics so I can move it manually.

It didn't look like the Header Panel area was folded all the way down under the boot - like air in a power top type of thingy.

Looking through the top viewfinder on the large format cameras is a real treat. Kevin has several that I want as well for my own collection of obsession photos.

Have any of the photo mount studios called yet?

All film. Fuji Velvia I believe it was called. The photo mounters have already called. In fact that is how I found out I got the cover. I ordered the full monty. I am going to give it to my 12 year old who just loves this car and was there for the shoot.

thanks guys

Bob and I got together after work last night at a local cruise in and though I've seen his car before he's made a lot of cool changes since then. It's an awesome example of the things we all look for, Looks and classic styling, performance and a distinct throaty rumble that commands folks to stop and look to see what just fired up without being obnoxious... graemlins/beers.gif

Well thanks a lot everyone. Dennis it was nice to see you again. Your car is absolutely perfect. It was a pleasure meeting your friends and I hope we can meet there again sometime when we can both stay longer.

bob

btw.......dennis....there is a thread in the performance section on the American Thunder system. Many are under the impression that it is too loud and obnoxious. Drop by there give them your impression of how mine sounded if you don't mind.

looked inside my mailbox today and there it was, Bob's camaro. very cool. bob, what filter did they use? as i was looking at one of the photos, the one from the rear, it gave your camaro a sort of bronze look. i like that color.
