I JUST PURCHASED A RS SS 69 CAMARO WITH PORT HOLE LOUVERED HOOD AND RALLYSPORT STRIPES INSTEAD OF THE TRADITIONAL HOCKEY STICK. IT APPEARS TO HAVE ORIGINAL PAINT.THE STRIPES DON'T CONTINUE ON THE LIP OF THE TRUNK LID AS CAME FROM FACTORY. MOST RS STRIPES PUT ON AT DEALER SHIP CONTINUE ON TRUNK LIP. WHATS UP WITH THIS CAR??? PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK..IS THIS POSSIBLE??? STEVE PS (51 BLUE WITH WHITE STRIPES BLUE STANDARD INTERIOR)

Do you mean the Z/28 type stripes which go over the hood and deck lid? If so, they would not be original on an SS car.

No.
No Z28 stripes, unless the car is a Z28, Z10 or Z11. Never Z28 stripes on an SS hood.

Yes, the stripes could have been applied by a dealer. No, they did not come from the factory.
