I have a 69 standard Camaro I purchased for $2,000, I rebuilt the 230 L-6 enging, has a 4 speed tranny. needs both quarter pannels, both fenders, grill and dash carrier and gauges. Interior also needs to be redone. I am in the process of puting it back together, but am wondering if it is worth the money for the remaining parts. any ideas on how much I could ask for it. It has new exaust, front end bushings "poly", brakes "4 wheel drum", had some rust on rear driver floor that I patched with fiberglass. The only other rust was the rear wheel wells. any ideas would be appreciated

With the 6 banger its not worth much. Adding on the rust and missing parts I would say it's worth what you paid.

In my opinion, these 6 cyl cars are the ones you want to cut into / Pro Street! Personally, I can't see cutting up a numbers-matching Z or SS.

Just my .02. (My car was a 6)

In my opinion they are worth keeping & repairing/restoring.

I'll bet most of the 6cyl cars out there have been chopped up into race cars, pro street machines & who knows what else.

Just my 2cents worth http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
