I have a guy that says he had a 68 396 RS/SS and ordered it with no center console.I thought the RS/SS package came with it.He said it was a 4 speed also.
Was there a RS/SS in 68?Did they have both SS and RS badges on the car?
thanks
John

I have seen several cars with four speed transmissions that have no console. In most cases I believe the console was an option but not required. Yes, there were SS cars with the RS package in '68 but they only carry the SS badges, not both.
