My 91 Z28 5.7 TPI is having real promblems, sometimes when i try to take off the car does not want to go, or when I'm driving and press the gas it hestates and holds back, but when i let off it seems to free up
I was thinking possible converter sticking
TH700R4, stock stall, and sometimes it is fine I,m stumped, any help or suggestions are and would be greatly appricated

Is it the engine that kinda stumbles and fails to rev? If so, you might have dirty injectors, clogged air filter or fuel filter. If the engine wants to rev but the car doesn't want to jump, then you might wish to look into the kickdown for your tranny. I believe the 700 R4 has an electronically controlled device that senses the accelerator position, and these are known to malfuction.
