It sounds great to me. Sleepy-69 Mar 28th, 02, 05:16 AM I agree with Boodle-man...dual 40's are nice and it's not too loud for me, nor is there resonance in the dreaded 2000-2500 rpm range. Nice tone for cruising, but she really let's you know you have a good exhaust system when you jump on it. I run 2.5's from the headers to the mufflers then 2.25's from the mufflers out the back of the car. ORENCH Mar 28th, 02, 06:54 AM Hey 68redcam, I also have Fmstr 2 chambers in a 350 4 speed. They are music to my ears. Hear it in mi sig. Sound level, not too much, just enough to let everybody know a "Muscle Car" is coming. http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif ------------------ Our affair with Camaros is a live sentence without the possibility of parole. www.geocities.com/c68ss (http://www.geocities.com/c68ss) http://home.coqui.net/borench Oncea3Fan Mar 28th, 02, 07:22 AM I just bought the flowmaster american thunder but have to rebiuld my trans(this weekend I hope)it has daul mufflers and 2 1/2" from header to tail pipes all in stock hangers. I have hung the tail pipes and it looks like every thing will clear just. I am running 245/15 on 8.5-3.75bs on the rear I let you know how it sounds when I get it back together! ------------------ "Drive it like you stole it" 67 327,4spd,3.73 70 454,400th,3.08 00 SS,NBM,CHROME ZR1'S,CME (AKA 4 speed) shaugs Mar 28th, 02, 07:29 AM I put the american thunder 40 series on me Z. My only complaint is the resonance inside the car. The system sounds great outside. I have a factory chambered car that is much quieter inside (no resonance), but louder outside. I smashed my H-pipe and they wanted me to buy a whole new kit. I finally got them to agree to send me the replacement parts (cost me $130 with shipping!!), but I've been without the car for going on 3 weeks now. Parts should be here tomorrow. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif ------------------ Justin Traunero justin.traunero@furman.edu -1967 Camaro SS350 clone -350/TH-350 with shift kit, CompCams XE268H, Dynomax Jet-Hot headers, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust -2002 Impala LS -Medium Bronzemist Metallic, every option except engine block heater Click here (http://www.furman.edu/~jtrauner)to see my Camaro and my parents' 2002 Impala LS. DOUG G Mar 28th, 02, 03:51 PM I installed the AT series Flowmaster kit. some cutting of the head pipes, but well worth it. duals with an H pipe <40's>,and dual tails just behind rear tires. Sounds great, with resonance being loud at idle and about 2000rpm. but you know they're flows for sure. http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif ------------------ My '68 Camaro (http://hometown.aol.com/Dougs68Camaro/index.html) Doug G. 68 Camaro 406 ci. 13.5@102 W/ 2.73POSI.
