For those who have timing tape on their balancers, how did you fasten it? I'm thinking about using super glue for lack of any other ideas. Any suggestions? TIA - Jon

Use that stick glue kids use nowadays in school. It should clean up a lot nicer than super glue.

Silver69 - appreciate your help. However, I don't think that stuff is strong enough. Maybe some type of epoxy?

You could always use a clear coat over it after gluing.

Every timing tape I've bought has its own adhesive - just peel the paper liner off the back and apply it to the balancer; clean the balancer surface very thoroughly first.

I'm in agreement with John. If the dampner is clean it will stick...
