Help!! I just received my new headers "Hedman elite" put them on the motor that still is setting on engine stand to see how they fit for clearances! Everything was fine except that the bellcrank that I have won't fit right! I have a 67 camaro that had a 250 6 cyl. floor shift in it and swithched to a 327! Is there a differance in bellcranks for a 6cyl to 8 cyl? Would it be possible to heat and bend the bell crank alittle to make it work? Or am i better off sending back the headers and getting a pair that people have had sucess with? Any suggestions would be helpful!! Thanks!!

I know shorty style hedman headers are for automatic application only. I had the same problem with the clutch Z bar. Call hedman tech support.

I talked with Hedman tech line. They advised me they have never ran across this problem before. They were wondering if the headers might of got stamped wrong at the factory! But before i send them back for a new set i thougt i would ask questions here first! By the way the headers are full length!! Part # 68278 Hedman Elite Thanks
