Personally, I don't know, and don't see any logic for it to be there, either. If you consider it an aid to an assembler to save him the trouble of looking at the trim tag or UOIT for something, there was nothing unique about an X-33 car coming down the line in the Fisher Trim Shop that wasn't covered by other common option codes. X-33 was a Z/28 with Z-21 or Z-22, and the only thing Fisher Body trim-wise unique about a Z/28 was the rear end panel emblem, but that was also on X-77 cars - anyone seen "X7" on an X-77 car?
