Need it to fit everything under the hood. Have you done anything to the rear suspension? Car looks awesome. graemlins/thumbsup.gif vr1967 Nov 29th, 04, 05:42 PM 67, Is the Harwood hood open the whole length of the scoop? (No air box like the original?) If so, I will probably sell my original cowl hood, as I was gonna have to cut it to do what I wanted. Thanks Virgil toycarlvr@aol.com Nov 30th, 04, 07:00 AM Nice! When I saw the topic... I thought about the 59 Camino on Ford Chassis... smile.gif 67RS502 Nov 30th, 04, 07:37 AM VR - yes the cowl of the hood is all open. Wheels are Bogarts - 15"x10"x5.5 B.S. I relocated the shocks to in side the frame, and had a chassis guy move the inner wheel wells in 2 1/2+/-" (flush with the frame) when he did the roll bar. The inside of the tire is about 1" from the leaf spring in the rear. I plan on moving the leafs in a bit, and suckin the wheels/tires in about 1 1/2", because they stick out about 1/2". I also wanna lower the rear about 2", but 1st I have to finish redoing the exhaust, because of ground clearance issues - the 4" exhaust exits before the traction bars, and is low to the ground. I plan on makin the new exhaust 3 1/2", tuck it up against the floor pan, and dump it at the axle. This thing is a never ending project... graemlins/clonk.gif I still need to find a few more ponies to pick up another tenth. |
