I have a few questions about them. Do they hold up well? Are they strong? Can you power shift them through the gears easily? I heard that they don't take abuse well. I would love to have a 68 with an LS1 and a T56. It's my dream camaro.

The Viper T-56 (different internals than the Camaro/Firebird/Corvette unit) is bulletproof with 500+ lb-ft. going through it; only problem we had with it was occasional bent (aluminum) shift forks - changed the forks to iron in '98, no more problems.

I don't have one in my cars - I was the Viper Plant Manager for the last six years, drove them every day.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

I noticed you said "was". Why did you quit?
