Is there any way to search across all forums? There is so much great information in here that I want to make sure I find it before posting a ? that's already been answered a hunnert times.

Greg we try to keep things in the proper forums to aid in searches. The size of the forums and the amount of traffic the site receives make it hard to justify searching all forums at once.

I appreciate the fact that you want to search prior to asking questions. Welcome to TC..

There was a back door search for awhile that would search accross all the forums. But the door got closed. I used it to remind myself to check back on threads I had posted to. I'd search all forums for my user name for the previous few days. I'd also search for other users to see what they were up to. I guess it sucked up to much bandwidth but it was a handy feature, hint hint. Greg, welcome to the site.
